An 18-year-old woman is in critical condition after she was injured in a San Bernardino car accident involving two hit-and-run drivers, the San Bernardino Sun reports. The serious injury accident occurred the evening of October 30, 2009 when the teenager who was riding a Honda 50 motorcycle, was struck head-on by a dark-colored SUV near the intersection of Fifth Avenue and Olive Street.

The SUV dragged the woman 100 feet and then fled the scene, leaving the victim lying on the street. She was then hit again by a white Ford truck, which also fled the scene. That vehicle is described as a 1987 to 1991 Ford F-Series truck with a camper shell. Anyone who saw this car accident is asked to contact sheriff's deputies in Hesperia at 760-947-1500.

As for the two drivers who fled the scene, I hope they are both brought to justice. Please keep this young woman and her family in your prayers.
