A suspected DUI collision in Orange County has resulted in injuries for five people, including one 2-year-old girl who was critically hurt. According to a news report in The Orange County Register, the crash happened in the 1400 block of McFadden Avenue when a suspected drunk driver went off the roadway, on to a sidewalk and plowed into a group of pedestrians. The 2-year-old girl sustained critical injuries and her mother suffered a broken leg. Three others sustained injuries, which were not life-threatening. The driver, identified as 43-year-old Miguel Angel Sandoval, is facing felony DUI charges.
I hope the little girl in this case has not suffered catastrophic injuries. I wish her and the other injured victims the very best for a swift and full recovery. They will be in my prayers.
