Authorities said an Orange County car accident injured an off-duty California Highway Patrol officer who was riding a motorcycle on the 91 Freeway. The Orange County Register reports that this injury motorcycle crash occurred the morning of March 11, 2010 near Orangethorpe Avenue, in La Palma. The officer reportedly suffered moderate injuries. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries. California Highway Patrol officials are looking into what caused this accident.
