Two Injured in San Diego DUI Car Accident

Two people were seriously injured in a San Diego car accident, which officials say was caused by an impaired driver. 10news reports that this major injury collision occurred the night of February 1, 2010. California Highway Patrol officials said a 26-year-old U.S. Marine from Camp Pendleton lost control of his Toyota pickup truck, crossed over to opposing lanes of traffic on a Pala highway and slammed into a minivan driven by a 46-year-old woman. Both drivers were seriously injured and transported to a local hospital. The Marine was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence.
