Elderly Woman Dies in San Francisco Car Accident

Authorities have identified a 74-year-old woman who died in a San Francisco car accident San Francisco car accident as Marilyn Bosshart. The accident occurred on state Highway 1 at Devil's Slide the morning of October 13, 2009, the San Mateo Daily Journal reports. California Highway Patrol officials said the driver of a Nissan Z coupe was traveling south on the narrow highway. The driver, who was reportedly speeding, crossed over the center line and crashed into Bosshart's car head-on. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The Nissan's driver was hospitalized with injuries. A third driver was thankfully uninjured.
